How advocacy works
## Four steps, with you the whole way

### Tell us what's happening

Share as much or as little as you like: by phone, chat, or form.

### Get a clear plan

We translate the jargon and map out your options and next steps.

### Prepare together

Checklists, questions to ask, and templates so you feel ready.

### Follow up & escalate

If you're stuck, we help you complain, appeal, or find another door.

The right to be informed
You have the right to clear explanations of your diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and costs, in language you understand, with an interpreter if you need one.

The right to your records
You can request access to your own medical records and ask for corrections. Your health information is protected under Manitoba's privacy laws.

The right to refuse or pause
